Radius Power Introduces The First Photovoltaic Inverter DC Power Line Filter Family To Support 1500VDC Panel Operation

Radius Power, Inc. a Global leader in the design and manufacture of EMI and RFI Power Line Filters, today announced the availability of the industry’s first family of DC Power Line Filter solutions supporting 1500VDC Open Circuit Central Inverters. By maximizing the operating DC voltage to the limit of the European Union’s Low Voltage Directive (LVD), DC currents are dramatically reduced, creating a cost reduction ripple-effect throughout the entire DC power bill of materials.

These new Utility-Scale Inverter filter solutions form a new product category for Radius Power in 2012. The “Inverter Filter” section of the product offering now highlights single stage and multi-stage performance options addressing a broad range of EMI mitigation scenarios. With respect to DC Power Line Filters, Radius Power now offers five (5) product families supporting DC voltage inputs from 300VDC to 1,500VDC.
