Design Engineer

Job Summary:
Design and develop concepts, prototypes, test and qualification of new products.
Design and build test equipment or fixtures to facilitate the testing process.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred.
5 years of experience in design and testing of electronics devices.  Experience in Solidworks and AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Utilize Robust Design tools (Six Sigma , FMEA, FEA, CAE, Tolerance analysis, etc.) to ensure rigorous design which meet trade partner and Consumer demands
  • Design and implement hardware and software to test electronic devices. Ability to solve complex electronics, software and hardware integration issues.
  • Utilize data acquisition software tools such as Lab View to evaluate components.
  • Experience in design and development of power circuits, schematic capture and layout, EMI/EMC, Thermal analysis.
  • Experience in developing test reports and test procedures, performing validation and verification of requirements.
  • Experience in failure analysis of electrical/electronic systems and to perform Root cause and corrective actions.
  • Work with cross-function of team members (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Marketing, Service, etc.)
  • Create time line for each project. Prepares project reports. Manage projects/programs for on time completion

Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary:
Provide technical leadership to the production team. Identify manufacturing issues to develop cost effective solutions.
Process planning and tool development and oversee implementation of best practices into production.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred.
5 years of experience in providing floor support associated with manufacturing, quality, tooling and equipment.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Resolve manufacturing issues related to processes, tooling and equipment.
  • Design new systems and processes to improve existing products or assist new product introduction.
  • Complete 8D process and reports to troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints, internal product/process failures, equipment malfunctions and other plant support issues.
  • Coordinate and update documentation such as manufacturing, equipment, test method and other instructions.
  • Apply statistical methods and capability analysis to determine manufacturing processes, staff requirements and production standards.
  • Estimate production cost and effect of product design changes for management review ,action and control
  • Review production schedules, Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability and minimize cost.
  • Work with cross-function of team members (Engineering, Design, Procurement, Marketing, Service, etc.) to complete continuous improvement projects.

Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
Provide leadership support aimed at optimizing product/method/service quality, improving process capability, and improving customer satisfaction through the use of advanced quality tools and problem solving techniques.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred.
5 years of experience in process/quality engineering with demonstrated ability in lean and six sigma methodologies.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Work with cross function teams to complete continuous improvement projects.
  • Resolve quality issues using statistical analysis and problem solving techniques such as 8D, DOE, FMEA and PDCA etc.
  • Drive timely completion of corrective and preventive actions for product failures, customer returns
  • Coordinate and complete self-directed projects aimed at safety improvement, cost reduction, quality improvement and new equipment/technology implementation.
  • Coordinate manufacturing release and ensure regulatory compliance by verification and validation.
  • Complete all planned quality and compliance training within specified deadlines. Assure compliance with QMS, quality goals.
  • Ownership of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, and acceptance activity, to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, effects of process variables and design considerations important to optimal operation.

Testing Engineer

Job Summary:
Research, interpret, and communicate requirements to product development teams.
Maintain the compliance of statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred.
5 years of experience in quality assurance and compliance to statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

  • Source, translate, and analyze technical documents, identify relevant sections, and communicate requirements to product development teams.
  • Comply with all relevant standards, policies and procedures specific to product development and maintenance and quality control management.
  • Assist technically in identifying, prioritizing and organizing requirements for functional redesign/upgrade, obsolescence and compliance management of electrical products.
  • Design and build hardware prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing and may be required to set up and run functional simulations and evaluations.
  • Design manufacturing and testing procedures and coordinate with other Company centers and/or contract manufacturers to perform tests.
  • Conduct tests, document results with presentation and review with internal customer and management audience.
  • Support the buyer function for component evaluation from alternate sources, Final quality assurance to ascertain the compliance of customer expectations.
  • To manage testing and calibration laboratory and provide services, interact with certifying agencies and external labs to get new & existing products certified.

Production Assemblers

Job Summary
Using a variety of hand tools, fixtures and work instructions to correctly assemble EMI filters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures.
  • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and intrepret procedures written in English
  • Experience in Soldering.
